Salestrics MCP
Salestrics MCP lets AI agents outside Salestrics work with your workspace. Connect a coding agent or desktop AI app to your CRM, inbox, workflows, and other Salestrics apps.
Salestrics AI inside the app answers questions and helps with tasks. Salestrics MCP is for agents you already use in other tools. Those agents can read live data and take approved actions on your behalf.
You need a paid workspace and admin access to turn MCP on and make connection keys.
What agents can do
With Salestrics MCP, an outside agent can:
- Look up sales records, contacts, and pipeline stages.
- Read inbox messages and threads.
- Run workflows and automations you allow.
- Pull reports and workspace facts.
- Work across the Salestrics apps your plan includes.
Agents only see what your workspace rules allow. Your admin can require a person to approve some changes.
Turn on Salestrics MCP
- Open App Launcher → Admin.
- Open Integrations.
- Find Agent MCP server.
- Turn MCP on for your workspace.
- Review the safety settings. Choose whether agents need approval before they change records.
Only workspace admins can change these settings.
Connect an agent
- In Admin → Integrations, open Agent MCP server.
- Create a connection key. Give it a clear name, such as "Cursor on my laptop."
- Copy the key when it is shown. You will not see the full key again.
- Pick your agent app from the list, such as Cursor or VS Code.
- Copy the ready-made setup block for that app.
- Paste it into your agent app's settings.
- Save and restart the agent app if it asks you to.
Each key works for your whole workspace. You can make more than one key for different people or devices.
Supported agent apps
Salestrics MCP works with common coding agents and AI desktop apps. The Integrations page shows copy-ready setup for each one.
Examples include:
- Cursor
- VS Code
- Windsurf
- Other apps that support the same connection style
If your app is not listed, ask your admin to use the generic setup block on the Integrations page.
Keep your workspace safe
- Store connection keys like passwords. Do not share them in chat or email.
- Revoke a key in Admin → Integrations if a laptop is lost or a person leaves.
- Use one key per person or device when you can.
- Read agent answers before you act on money, legal, or people choices.
- Turn off MCP when you are not using outside agents.
Salestrics keeps your keys in Admin. You do not need to paste app passwords into agent settings.
Fix common problems
MCP is not shown in Admin
Ask a workspace admin to open Admin → Integrations. MCP must be turned on for your plan.
The agent says it cannot connect
- Check that MCP is on in Admin.
- Make a new connection key and update the agent setup.
- Confirm the agent app was restarted after you saved settings.
- Ask your admin if your role can use MCP tools.
The agent can read but cannot make changes
Your admin may require approval for writes. Ask them to review MCP safety settings in Admin → Integrations.
You lost a connection key
Revoke the old key and make a new one. Update every agent app that used the old key.
