Salestrics AI
Salestrics AI helps you work with the information in your workspace. Ask questions, write first drafts, summarize long threads, spot risks in pipeline or support queues, and propose automations — always with you in the loop to verify before anything customer-facing goes out.
Salestrics AI is not a replacement for your judgment. Check names, dates, totals, and links against source records before you act.

Try a public demo at ai.salestrics.com before creating a workspace. Do not enter real company or customer data in the demo.
Assistant (primary chat)
Assistant is the main conversational interface. It supports slash commands (/pipeline, /brief, /automate, …), role-based onboarding, multiple AI models, and multi-step investigations.

AI Digital Executives
AI Digital Executives gives you persistent AI helpers scoped to domains like sales, support, or finance.
You can:
- Read a daily briefing tailored to each executive's domain
- Chat with an executive about its area
- Review situation room items that need human approval
- Join an AI meeting room for guided reviews
Admins control which executives and autonomous actions are enabled in Admin → Salestrics AI.
Choose how Salestrics AI answers
Many screens let you pick a faster or deeper model:
| Mode | Best for |
|---|---|
| Faster | Short questions, quick drafts, simple summaries |
| Deeper | Multi-app analysis, planning, nuanced writing |
The choice applies per chat or task. Switch when your needs change.
Model names may appear in the UI (for example Salestrics AI v2). Your workspace uses the models enabled by your plan and admin settings.
Ask a clear question
Tell Salestrics AI:
- What you want (list, draft, comparison, plan)
- Which data to use (module, date range, record type)
- Output format (bullets, email, table, executive summary)
- Constraints (tone, length, what to avoid)
Strong example:
Show open opportunities closing this quarter over $25k. Sort by amount. Flag any with no activity in 14 days. Output as a table with owner and next step.
Weak example:
Help with sales.
For writing, name the audience and tone:
Draft a concise, professional reply thanking the customer for patience and listing two concrete next steps with dates.
Use AI by department

- Lead Finder prospect research narratives
Customer service (Resolve)
- Case thread summaries
- Suggested replies aligned with knowledge articles
- Queue backlog overview
Finance (Ledger)
- Revenue and expense narratives
- Budget vs actual commentary (with source verification)
Operations (Flow)
- Inventory and fulfilment exception summaries
Analytics (Insight)
- Ask business questions in plain language
- Explain query results and recommend charts
- Thread analysis and reply drafts
- Suggested recipients when forwarding
Auto and bulk work
Auto runs repeatable changes across many records (for example reassign stale leads). AI can help you design those workflows in Assistant (/automate) or in the Auto builder.
| Action type | Counts toward |
|---|---|
| Single-record AI assist in CRM screens | AI tokens only |
| Auto workflow run | Monthly Auto runs limit |
| Assistant chat | AI tokens |
See Plans and limits for run caps per plan.
Outside agents (Salestrics MCP)
Salestrics MCP lets AI in Cursor, Claude Desktop, VS Code, and similar tools call live Salestrics tools with your workspace API key. That is separate from in-product Salestrics AI:
| In-product AI | Salestrics MCP | |
|---|---|---|
| Runs in | Salestrics UI | Your IDE or desktop agent |
| Auth | Your user session | smcp_live_… API key |
| Best for | Day-to-day work inside Salestrics | Engineering workflows, IDE context |
Check your AI allowance
Each workspace shares a monthly AI token pool based on plan and billable seats.
- View usage: Admin → Billing
- In Assistant: usage meter in the composer
When tokens are exhausted, AI features pause until the monthly reset. Paid plans may offer token packs or plan upgrades — check Billing.
Trials use the allowance of the plan being tried.
Admin controls
Workspace admins open Admin → AI Guardrails to manage Salestrics AI org-wide:
| Setting | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Default AI on/off | Master switch per app |
| Read workspace data | Whether AI can query CRM, mail, etc. |
| Write single record | Allow AI to update one record |
| Bulk / Auto changes | Allow multi-record automation |
| Blocked actions | Hard deny list (for example delete all) |
| Workspace instructions | Tone, glossary, goals, topics to avoid |
Use the test panel before saving new instructions. Keep guidance short and specific.
Integrations configured in Admin → Integrations (Stripe, Slack, GitHub, …) can extend what AI and MCP agents reach — credentials stay in Salestrics.

Use Salestrics AI safely
- AI only sees data you are allowed to access, further limited by guardrails.
- Models can hallucinate — especially numbers, dates, and names.
- Verify against source records before customer send, financial decisions, or HR actions.
- Approve suggested record changes when your workspace requires it.
- Do not rely on AI alone for legal, medical, safety, or compliance decisions.
Fix common AI problems
AI is missing from an app
Ask your admin if AI is enabled for that app in Admin → AI Guardrails.
AI stops mid-task
Check Admin → Billing for token exhaustion. Wait and retry if usage remains.
Answer is too vague
Add date range, module, record type, and desired format. Break large asks into steps.
Answer looks wrong
Do not use it. Open the source record, correct facts, and re-prompt with specifics.
Assistant vs popup confusion
Both use the same allowance. Long work belongs in full Assistant; quick asks work in the popup.
