Learn how to use Salestrics

Guides for customers and workspace admins — from your first sign-up to pipeline, Connect, Assistant, and billing.

Momentum CRM

Momentum is your sales workspace — leads, accounts, contacts, opportunities, quotes, products, and activities in one place.

Open it: App Launcher → Momentum, or go to /momentum.

Core modules

ModuleWhat it's for
LeadsEarly-stage prospects before they become opportunities
AccountsCompanies you sell to
ContactsPeople at those companies
OpportunitiesActive deals in your pipeline
QuotesFormal pricing proposals
ProductsWhat you sell
ActivitiesCalls, meetings, tasks, and notes
Price booksProduct pricing for specific markets or segments
CampaignsMarketing campaigns tied to leads and results

All modules share the same underlying customer graph — linking a contact to an opportunity updates related lists automatically.

Working with records

List views

Every module list supports:

  • Saved views — filter, name, pin, and switch between custom list views
  • Column sort — click a column header to sort ascending or descending
  • Column filters — filter row under headers; clear with "Clear column filters"
  • Column visibility — show, hide, and reorder columns from the Columns button

Record detail pages

Open any record to see:

  • Inline editing — click a field to edit (where your permissions allow)
  • Related lists — linked records (for example opportunities on an account)
  • Feed — activity stream for that record
  • Workflows — sidebar actions like convert lead, send email, or create quote
  • Files — attach documents from Workspace Drive
  • Custom fields — add record-specific fields (paid plans only)

Lead scoring

Lead score is calculated automatically from qualification inputs (budget, source, status, timeline, linked contact). You edit the inputs — not the score directly.

Converting leads

When you convert a lead to an opportunity:

  • A new opportunity is created (and optionally a contact)
  • The original lead is marked Converted and archived
  • Archived leads disappear from active lists but remain viewable in the Converted list view

Contacts and addresses

Contact records include three address cards:

  • Physical — office or primary location
  • Shipping — where deliveries go
  • Mailing — postal correspondence

Each has street, suite, city, state, postal code, and country fields.

Contacts can be linked to opportunities, leads, and cases from the record picker on those modules.

Quotes and products

  • Quote line items — add products with quantities; totals calculate automatically
  • Valid Until and Terms — editable on the quote record
  • Products — Billing and Unit fields are editable
  • Price books — Products list derives from entry SKUs; link products on each entry

Custom fields (paid plans)

On paid plans, any CRM record can have its own custom fields:

  1. Open a record → Custom fields section
  2. Click Add field — choose label and type (text, number, date, select, etc.)
  3. Fields are scoped to that record unless you save to My custom fields and re-add on other records

Free Forever does not include custom fields.

Email from records

Use Send email on supported record headers to send outbound email from your org address ({your-org}@mysalestrics.com). Delivery is real — not a draft-only preview.

Workflows

Record workflows (unmetered)

On a record's detail page, the workflow sidebar can:

  • Convert leads
  • Create quotes, tasks, or notes
  • Send email
  • Run other module-specific actions

These do not count toward your monthly bulk automation limit.

Bulk automations

For actions across many records, use Auto (/auto). Those runs are metered — see Plans and limits.

Notifications

CRM events (new records, assignments, campaign updates) appear in the bell icon notifications inbox for org members.

Tips

  • Pin your most-used list views for faster switching
  • Use My Leads and owner filters to focus on your pipeline
  • Link contacts early — it improves lead scoring and related lists
  • Attach proposals from Drive so files stay with the deal
