Learn how to use Salestrics

Connect

Connect is team chat and video built into Salestrics. It is included on paid plans — not on Free Forever.

Connect is not the Comms product (voice telephony and email app). Connect is for people in your organization and, on higher plans, external guests you invite to meetings.

Team chat

Channels

  • Team channels — shared spaces for projects or departments (you can create and delete team channels)
  • Direct messages — private 1:1 conversations
  • Meeting channels — linked to video meetings

Sending messages

  • Type in the message box and press Enter to send
  • Messages are stored in your organization's workspace — not an external chat service

Mobile

On phones, Connect shows a channel list and message panel you can switch between. Tap a channel to read and reply.


Video meetings

Start a meeting

  1. Go to Connect → Meetings (/connect/meetings)
  2. Enter an optional title
  3. Choose Internal (team only) or External (guests allowed on Runway+)
  4. Click Start meeting

You can also start a call from a direct message or schedule from the Workspace calendar.

Join a meeting

  • Team members — open the meeting link from the meetings list or calendar
  • Guests (Runway and Scale) — use the shareable invite link; guests enter their name at /connect/join/[token]

During a call

  • Toggle microphone and camera
  • Optional virtual backgrounds
  • Present Workspace Slides from inside the meeting room
  • Meeting timer reflects your plan's duration limit

After a call

  • Recordings — if recorded, saved to your Workspace Drive under Meeting recordings
  • Recent meetings — you see up to five recent meetings; archive older ones from the meetings list
  • Privacy — your meeting history is visible to you, not broadcast org-wide

Trial workspaces use Runway limits.

When a meeting hits your plan's time limit, the call ends with a message to upgrade for more time.


Troubleshooting Connect
