Salestrics AI
Salestrics AI is the intelligence layer across your workspace. It reads live CRM, finance, support, and operations data — then helps you summarize, analyze, draft, and act without leaving the app you are in.
In the product UI, models are branded Salestrics-AI-v1 and Salestrics-AI-v2 — never provider model names.
This guide covers every customer-facing AI surface: the full Assistant chat, embedded panels on app home pages, and AI inside Workspace, Mail, and Orbit.

Models: Salestrics-AI-v1 and Salestrics-AI-v2
| Model | Best for |
|---|---|
| Salestrics-AI-v1 | Fast, efficient everyday tasks |
| Salestrics-AI-v2 | Advanced reasoning for complex workflows (platform default) |
Salestrics-AI-v2 capabilities
When you choose Salestrics-AI-v2 in Assistant (or set it as your org default for embedded AI), you get a deeper runtime profile:
| Capability | What it means in practice |
|---|---|
| Multi-tool planning | Assistant can chain several live query tools before answering (up to 10 tool rounds vs 6 on v1) |
| Cross-app synthesis | Combines CRM, support, finance, and team signals into one narrative |
| Deeper analysis | Larger completion budget (8192 tokens vs 4096 on v1) for richer tables and breakdowns |
| Structured action plans | Numbered next steps with deep links when you need an execution plan |
Embedded AI panels (Momentum, Resolve, Ledger, Workspace, Mail) use your org default model from Admin → AI Guardrails. When v2 is the default, summaries and recommendations use the v2 embedded profile (higher token budget and richer formatting).
| Where | Who chooses the model |
|---|---|
| Assistant | Each user picks a model per chat (choice is remembered locally) |
| Embedded AI (Workspace, Mail, app panels) | Uses your org default model from Admin → AI Guardrails |
| ai.salestrics.com demo | Visitor picks a model in the demo chat |
Where to find Salestrics AI
| Surface | How to open | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Assistant | App Launcher → Assistant, the AI icon in the top bar, or /assistant | Full chat with CRM tools, metrics, and workflow actions |
| App home panels | Open Momentum, Resolve, Ledger, Insight, or Dashboard — AI actions appear on the landing page | One-click summaries and recommendations for that app |
| Workspace | Docs, Sheets, and Presentations editors — AI panel in the toolbar | Draft, rewrite, summarize, and polish documents |
| Mail / Inbox | Compose panel and thread view | Draft replies, summarize threads, adjust tone |
| Orbit | Post composer on the team feed (Launch+) | Draft, rewrite, polish, and shorten internal posts |
Assistant — full chat copilot
Assistant is the flagship Salestrics AI experience: a persistent chat sidebar with access to your organization's live data and workflow tools.
Workflow-first design
Salestrics AI is built for usability inside real workflows, not generic chatbot demos:
- Context-aware — when you open Assistant from Momentum, Resolve, Workspace, or elsewhere, suggestions tie to where you are
- Model choice — switch between Salestrics-AI-v1 and Salestrics-AI-v2 from the composer
- Fewer clicks — query tools and CRM workflows replace manual lookup when that saves you time
- Grounded answers — metrics and record data come from your organization, not generic advice
What Assistant can do
- Answer questions about pipeline, accounts, and metrics using real workspace data
- Draft emails, summaries, and next steps in sales and service context
- Run CRM workflow tools when you ask it to take action on records (when your admin allows it)
- Query cross-app summaries — Resolve queue health, Ledger finance posture, Connect activity, and more
- Remember conversation history within a session
Sessions and chat tools
| Action | How |
|---|---|
| Start fresh | Create a new session from the sidebar |
| Return to a topic | Select any saved session |
| Delete one chat | Trash icon on a session |
| Delete all chats | Clear every session from the sidebar menu |
| Export a chat | Type /export in the composer to download the current conversation as a text file |
Tips for better answers
- Be specific: "Show me open opportunities over $50k" works better than "pipeline help"
- Name record types Assistant knows — leads, opportunities, accounts, contacts, cases
- Check your token meter before large batch questions near your usage window reset
- Record workflows you trigger directly from CRM record pages do not consume Assistant chat tokens — only Assistant chat and embedded AI completions do
Embedded AI on app home pages
Several Salestrics apps include an AI panel on their landing page. Each panel offers preset actions tuned to that app's data — powered by the same guardrails, default model, and token metering as Assistant.
Momentum CRM
| Preset | What it does |
|---|---|
| Pipeline summary | High-level view of pipeline health and alerts |
| Deal analysis | Spot deals and accounts that need attention |
| Recommended actions | Concrete next steps for the revenue team |
Resolve
| Preset | What it does |
|---|---|
| Queue summary | Open cases, escalations, and service requests |
| Case analysis | Trends and bottlenecks in service operations |
| Service actions | Prioritized actions for the support team |
Ledger
| Preset | What it does |
|---|---|
| Finance summary | Revenue, expenses, invoices, and budget status |
| Cash flow analysis | Outstanding invoices and budget pressure |
| Finance actions | Follow-ups for billing and budget owners |
Insight
| Preset | What it does |
|---|---|
| Analytics summary | Pipeline and KPI snapshot from live CRM data |
| Metric analysis | Trends and outliers in reporting data |
| Reporting actions | Reports or dashboards worth building next |
Dashboard
| Preset | What it does |
|---|---|
| Daily brief | Cross-app overview for today |
| Org summary | Key metrics and activity highlights |
Panels use live dashboard context from your organization. If AI is disabled for an app in Admin → AI Guardrails, the panel shows that surface as unavailable.
AI in Workspace, Mail, and Orbit
Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Presentations)
- Draft new content from a prompt
- Rewrite, polish, and shorten selected text
- Summarize long documents or slide decks
- Presentations support full-deck generation from a brief
Mail and Inbox
- AI draft generates a first pass from the compose panel
- Summarize open email threads
- Reply assistance with tone controls
See Salestrics Mail for mailbox setup.
Orbit (in-platform social)
On Launch plans and above, Orbit includes AI writing assist in the post composer — draft, rewrite, polish, and shorten team posts.
Usage, tokens, and limits
AI usage is measured in tokens per organization per monthly usage window. Your allowance depends on your plan:
| Plan | AI tokens / month (org-wide) |
|---|---|
| Free Forever | 50,000 |
| Intro / Startup | 1M |
| Launch | 5M |
| Runway | 10M |
| Scale | 20M |
During a free trial, you receive the token allowance of the plan being trialed.
What counts toward your allowance
| Activity | Counts? |
|---|---|
| Assistant chat messages | Yes |
| Embedded app panels (Momentum, Resolve, Dashboard, etc.) | Yes |
| Workspace, Mail, and Orbit AI completions | Yes |
| CRM record workflows triggered from record pages (not via chat) | No |
When you run out
- Assistant chat and embedded AI are paused until your next monthly usage reset, you purchase a token pack (paid plans, not during trial), or you upgrade
- A banner explains the block and links to Admin → Billing
Usage window resets
AI tokens and bulk automations reset on a monthly cycle anchored to your organization — typically your subscription renewal date, trial start date, or workspace creation date. Annual subscriptions still refresh allowances every month.
Token pack balances are used after your monthly allowance is exhausted. Check Admin → Billing for your current window and next reset date.
Where to check usage
- Assistant sidebar — org token meter
- Admin → Billing — detailed AI usage, usage window label, and pack purchases

AI Guardrails (admins)
Workspace administrators control how Salestrics AI connects to every application at Admin → AI Guardrails (/admin/ai).
| Control | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Default AI model | Set Salestrics-AI-v1 or Salestrics-AI-v2 for embedded AI and workflows (users can still override in Assistant) |
| Connected applications | Enable or disable AI per app (Assistant, Workspace, Mail, Orbit, Momentum, Resolve, Ledger, Insight, Connect, Dashboard, and more) |
| Read-only query tools | Allow AI to read metrics and summaries without mutating records |
| CRM record mutations | Allow single-record workflow actions (convert lead, update stage, escalate case) |
| Bulk automations | Allow mass Auto workflows invoked by the assistant |
| Create users | Allow admins to provision users via the assistant |
| Workflow allowlist | Block specific assistant tools while keeping the rest enabled |
| Max tokens per request | Cap embedded AI completion size per request |
See the Admin guide for setup details.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | What to try |
|---|---|
| Assistant stopped responding | Your org may have exhausted its monthly tokens — check Admin → Billing |
| AI panel says unavailable | An admin may have disabled that app surface in AI Guardrails |
| Demo at ai.salestrics.com ended | Create a workspace at mysalestrics.com for full access |
| Answers seem generic | Ask a more specific question and name the record type or module you mean |
